Don’t miss the last chance to see two gowns worn by Oscar-nominated actor Lily Gladstone (Siksikaitsitapi [Blackfeet]/Nimiipuu [Nez Perce]) on view at our DC location through Sunday, April 26. Curator Anya Montiel (Mestiza/Tohono O'odham descent) offers a closer look at the museum’s special installation Making a Statement, featuring the custom Gucci gowns worn by Lily Gladstone at the 96th Academy Awards. Then, get hands-on and learn more about different types of quillwork in the museum’s Teaching Collection.
