View Event Details

Open spaces on all three floors will be taken over by 50 table-top displays created by middle and high school students competing in the 2026 National History Day national contest. Their exhibits represent topics relevant to their state and local communities and reflect the 2026 theme of “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.” Join us to view their exhibits and interact with students. This showcase is free and open to the public.

The National Museum of American History welcomes visitors of all ages and abilities. This event is wheelchair accessible. Additional accommodations are available upon request; please email nmahprograms@si.edu. Two weeks’ notice is preferred.
