National History Day Performance Showcase

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History will feature select performances starring and created by middle and high school students for the 2026 National History Day national contest. Join us for these performances that will highlight a range of under-told stories in American history that reflect the 2026 theme of “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.”  This showcase is free and open to the public.

The National Museum of American History welcomes visitors of all ages and abilities. This event is wheelchair accessible, and ASL services will be provided. Additional accommodations are available upon request; please email nmahprograms@si.edu. Two weeks’ notice is preferred.
