On July 14–16, 2026, the Office of the Under Secretary for Education will host its annual National Education Summit! This year's theme is “Together We Thrive: Towards a More Perfect Union.” PreK-12 educators, librarians, media specialists, and policymakers nationwide will participate in sessions exploring four distinct track themes designed to bridge civics with art, culture, history, and science:

• Designing STEAM Solutions for Civic Challenges
• Leveraging the Arts as Civic Voice
• Placing History in Context
