Family Film Program: Lilo & Stitch + Bao + The Queen's Flowers

Bao (2018, 8 min) tells the story of a Chinese American woman who gets a second chance at motherhood when one of her dumplings comes to life.

The Queen's Flowers (2024, 11 min) is a magical take on a true story: Emma, a Native Hawaiian girl in 1915 Honolulu, creates a special gift for Queen Liliʻuokalani, Hawaiʻi's last monarch.

Lilo & Stitch (2002, 85 min) follows Lilo Pelekaia, a young Native Hawaiian girl who befriends a mischievous alien—Stitch (Experiment 626)—and learns the meaning of "ohana" (family).
