Open Studio: Stay Cool
Beat the heat every Saturday in June at Open Studio! Each week, we’ll take inspiration from the heat of summer and look at artworks by artists such as Nicolas Party, Spencer Finch, Joan Miró, and more.
Join us this Saturday as we draw inspiration from Spencer Finch’s installation Cloud (H2O), on view in Big Things for Big Rooms. Teaching artist Karen Brown from Inspired Child will join us to help us dream of cooler weather and construct our own weather crowns. We’ll experiment with materials like construction paper, streamers, and paint sticks.
The teaching artist will be in Art School from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Meet in Art School on the Museum’s Lower Level.
