This immersive Smithsonian Studio Arts intensive explores the revolutionary visual language of Paul Cézanne through direct observation in the beautiful Enid A. Haupt Garden combined with an in-studio figurative painting session with a live model.

Named after the Smithsonian's 8th Secretary, the underground building's copper domed entrance is on Jefferson Drive between the "Castle" and the Freer Gallery of the National Museum of Asian Art.
