Forward Religions Conference 2026: Welcome Home
FORWARD RELIGIONS CONFERENCE 2026
“Welcome Home”
As we commemorate 250 years of Black religious traditions and the 10th anniversary of the Smithsonian’s Center for the Study of African American Religious Life, we recognize both as sacred homes, spaces where Black memory, faith, and cultural life endure.
Welcome home to the spaces where Black lives are celebrated, culture thrives, and past, present, and future unite in remembrance, resilience, and resistance.
