Writer and lecturer Adam Tanner examines how many Nazi war criminals escaped justice after World War II. Disguised as refugees and aided by sympathetic clergy, thousands obtained false identities and fled to Latin America. Among them were Adolf Eichmann, Franz Stangl, and Josef Mengele, all linked to major Holocaust atrocities.
