The Meaning of Home: A Treasures Zine Project
For Ages: 8 and Up
What does home mean to you? Is it a place, a person, a favorite object, a family tradition, or a memory you carry with you?
Drop in for a hands-on zine-making experience that invites you to explore what home and belonging mean to you. Using photographs, drawings, words, collage, and other creative materials, create a one-of-a-kind zine inspired by the people, places, objects, traditions, and memories you treasure.
Bring up to 3 printed personal photos to incorporate into your artwork. All other materials are provided.
Reflect on the stories that shape who you are, share ideas with others, and leave with a personal keepsake that captures what “home” means to you. No previous art or zine-making experience is needed.
