Zooming in on the Tools of Modern Astronomy | Cultivating Learning

Answering questions about the universe has long been the work of astronomers, but the way they do that work has changed dramatically over the last two centuries. Join the Education team from the National Air and Space Museum to take a closer look at the tools of modern astronomy, zooming in on the small parts that have led to big headlines. Leave with ideas about how to use objects to anchor big ideas, and how the museum interprets Earth-sized instruments in a single exhibit space.
