The National Air and Space Museum holds one of the most comprehensive collections of aeronautical and space-related art in the world.
There are approximately 7,000 works in the collection with pieces by notable artists including:

The Art of Air and Space: Interpretations of Flight will explore the relationship between art and the transformative power of the experience of flight through the display of the Museum's permanent collection. It will feature works from Ay-Ō, Richard Estes, Francisco Goya, Man Ray, Normal Rockwell, Alma Thomas, Annie Leibovitz, and William Wegman.

Launch into the history of flight by surrounding yourself with icons of air and space travel. The flagship building on the National Mall in Washington, D.C, exhibits aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, rockets, and other flight-related artifacts.
