Museum of History & Industry

The letters M, O, H, A, and I in bold, muted dark blue capital text. The letter O is fashioned into a compass. Below that it says Museum of History & Industry.

The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) houses a collection of over four million objects, documents, and photographs from the Puget Sound region’s past. Its exhibitions illuminate the stories of the men and women who built Seattle. An Affiliate since 2009, the museum has been an active collaborator with the Smithsonian Institution. For instance, MOHAI’s staff historian has led workshops teaching museum staff from other organizations in the Smithsonian Affiliations network to document local innovation for the Smithsonian Lemelson Center’s ongoing Places of Invention research project.
