New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science preserves and interprets the distinctive natural and scientific heritage of the state of New Mexico. The permanent exhibitions feature dinosaur fossils, a replica of the Mars Exploration Rover, New Mexico's wildlife, and artifacts tracing the history of the personal computer. As a Smithsonian Affiliate, it has hosted talks by Smithsonian scholars, featured loan items like the Post Diamond Tiara from the National Museum of Natural History, and offered the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory’s educational program, Youth Capture the Colorful Cosmos.
