The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is part of the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites, along with the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, USS Arizona, and Battleship Missouri Memorial. It tells the stories of the 1940s, showcasing both nationally and internationally manufactured aircraft and tools of aviation; a publicly viewed aircraft restoration area; and aircraft manufacturing techniques. The Museum has engaged in several Smithsonian Affiliations educational collaborations, including the Visiting Professionals Program, the Young Historians, Living Histories educational initiative, and the Youth Capture the Colorful Cosmos program.
