Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals

Two chisels used for mining fashioned into an X with a diamond sitting at the top. To the right of it, it says Rice Museum of Rock & Minerals over four lines.

The Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals creates exhibitions of rocks, minerals, gems, meteorites, and fossils and explores these specimens—from scientific, industrial, and artistic perspectives. The Museum shares the story of its collections through public programming and outreach. Since its establishment in 1997, the Museum has worked closely with the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and collaborated on mineralogical research and other projects.
