Science Museum Oklahoma promotes science literacy and offers hands-on science experiences, with thousands of space, aviation, and cultural artifacts in the mix. In 2015 it opened CurioCity, a family-oriented, 20,000-square-foot village designed for science learning and exploration. Collection highlights include items on loan from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, such as a pressure suit worn by NASA astronaut Thomas Patten Stafford and a boilerplate spacecraft from Project Mercury.
