The Morris Museum of Art

With more than 6,000 works in its permanent collection, the Morris Museum of Art is home to a broad-based survey collection of Southern art. Exploring the art and artists of the South, the museum is dedicated to preserving and enhancing this cultural legacy. It has featured guest speakers from the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History, and its status as a Smithsonian Affiliate has allowed staff members to participate in professional development workshops in Washington, D.C.
