The Western Science Center is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of archaeological and paleontological fossils.
The Western Science Center is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of archaeological and paleontological fossils. WSC provides a repository for over 1,000,000 archaeological objects uncovered locally, and it utilizes these collections in its extensive educational programming. Western Science Center's staff has collaborated with the Smithsonian Institution on a number of educational projects, including Youth Capture the Colorful Cosmos, a Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) program that taught science and technology skills to students.
