Wing Luke Museum

The Wing Luke Museum connects visitors to the history and cultures of Asian Pacific Americans through community based exhibitions and programs. It commemorates the life of Wing Luke, an early advocate for civil rights, urban renewal, and historic preservation. A Smithsonian Affiliate since 2001, The Wing has hosted Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service exhibitions and collaborated with the Smithsonian on cultural programs, including the symposium, "(Re)Presenting America: The Evolution of Culturally Specific Museums."
