The Wisconsin Veterans Museum safeguards Wisconsin’s military history and aims to provide insights into the experiences of United States veterans. Part of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, the museum also serves to commemorate, acknowledge, and affirm the role of Wisconsin citizens in American military history. The educational programs range from exhibitions to living history presentations, lectures, and cemetery tours. The Wisconsin Veterans Museum joined the Smithsonian Affiliations network in 2014.
